Do this practice if you need strong protective energy. You will need a pen, paper and a place where no one will disturb you.
- Sit in a quiet place with a straight back. Inhale and exhale. Recognize Durga Shakti as a flickering presence around you. You can visualize her sitting on her lion (although sometimes she is riding and on a tiger - choose the animal that is closer to you personally!). See her magnificent strong hands that hold weapons: bow, sword, trident, disk, wand. And also the lotus that she carries with her.
- Greet her. Ask: "What is my biggest internal hurdle right now? What do I need to pay more attention to? "Or ask for guidance when making a decision - or the strength to uphold something that you think is right. Close your eyes and ask this question with your heart.
- Start writing. Let words come naturally, don't make them up. Keep writing until you feel that there is nothing more to say. Reread what you wrote.
- Offer these obstacles to Durga with the words "I offer all this to Durga Shakti, and I ask that your mercy dissolve all obstacles, external and internal." Now, as you inhale, feel that you are breathing in the energy of the goddess. And as you exhale, feel how it passes through your entire body and enters the world. Notice how you feel when you allow yourself to be filled with the energy of Durga.
